Costa Rica’s National Parks are lovely. Some of these places are considered to be among the most important natural reserves in America. You can walk through the rainforest’s paths and even through hanging bridges while enjoying the wildlife around you. It is an unforgettable ecological adventure.
MONTEVERDE
Don’t miss this chance to see the wonderous Cloud Forest of Monteverde, a green community that is famous for its conservation efforts.
After a hearty breakfast, we will enjoy the scenic drive as we wind towards our destination. Once we arrive in Santa Elena Town, you will have the option to choose between:
(1)The Sky Walk, a sturdy, the suspension bridge that allows you the unique opportunity to get a bird’s eye view of this spectacular wilderness or
(2) A guided hike in the Monteverde Reserve where our bilingual guide will help you identify different types of flora and fauna and use his trained eye to point out the abundant wildlife.
After your chosen activity, you will enjoy a delicious typical lunch before you settle into our relaxing drive through the magical greenery of Costa Rica back to San Jose.
JACO
Recommended Clothing: Swimsuit, change of clothing, waterproof shoes or sandals, towel. Enjoy the perfect day at the beach with all the comfort and style of an all-inclusive resort. A morning drive will take you through the lush mountains and valleys as you head to Jaco beach. There, you will be able to indulge the ocean or relax by the pool of the Best Western Jacó Beach Resort with tropical beverages, snacks and delicious buffet lunch included. Then we bring you back to San Jose
BRAULIO CARRILLO
From San José, you’ll take a thirty-minute drive towards the eastern part of the country, to the Braulio Carrillo National Park. This park is an impressive 44,000 hectares of mixed evergreen forest that is mostly first growth. The vegetation and fauna here are so varied that you can expect to see animals and plants native to the rain forest, as well as native cloud forest dwellers.
The first stop is the park ranger’s station, where you can decide whether to take a one or two-hour hike through the jungle. After the walk, you will enjoy a delicious lunch of our local and international cuisine. After lunch, you may hike through other trails to seek more of the abundant wildlife. Later, you’ll head back to San José enjoy the rest of the evening
